CHRISTINA BATEMAN, PT, DPT
Treating Clinics: Lafayette
Christina was born and raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Exercise Science/ Sports Medicine from Colorado State University in Ft. Collins, CO. She then earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2004.
Christina grew up competing in gymnastics. Outside of the clinic, she is a busy mom of 4 children ages 10,12, and 15 and loves attending and volunteering for their sporting activities (gymnastics, lacrosse, wrestling). She enjoys aerial dance and has performed in local apprentice shows. She also participates in CrossFit and has competed at the local and regional level. Christina is no stranger to injury and has undergone two hip surgeries and participated in physical therapy.
Christina is dedicated to helping her patients improve their health and get back to doing what they love!

INTERESTS
Christina has experience working with all ages and a wide variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic and neurological conditions. She has a special interest in treating patients with neurological disorders. She really likes treating patients with stroke, brain injuries, concussions and other vestibular injuries. She likes this because the patients are complex and they really want to get better. They tend to work hard and give her their all.

Christina believes everyone needs physical therapy because physical activity is such a big bonus in life. She uses a wide variety of treatments to help her patients improve and get back to the life they want to live.
