Treating Clinic: Wheat Ridge
Elana was born and raised in Chicago. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Spanish Language. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Go Badgers!). Elana went on to complete a post-graduate residency focusing on orthopedics and spine physical therapy, also through UW-Madison.
Elana loves doing anything outside - hiking, biking, running, taking her dog to the dog park. She grew up as a competitive gymnast and soccer player. She took up CrossFit a few years ago to fill the competitive void in her life, and hasn’t looked back.

CONTINUING EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
Elana is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is certified in Functional Dry Needling Level 1
INTERESTS
Elana utilizes a combination of exercise and manual therapy to help people reach their goals. She believes firmly in empowering people to build a healthy lifestyle and giving them tools to self-manage conditions long term.

Elana enjoys working with everyone. She feels passionate about making people function better and feel better. She does have particular interest in working with adolescent athletes as well as adult recreational athletes.
