OverviewElana was born and raised in Chicago. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Spanish Language. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Go Badgers!). Elana went on to complete a post-graduate residency focusing on orthopedics and spine physical therapy, also through UW-Madison.
Elana loves doing anything outside - hiking, biking, running, taking her dog to the dog park. She grew up as a competitive gymnast and soccer player. She took up CrossFit a few years ago to fill the competitive void in her life, and hasn’t looked back.
