Julie received her Doctorate of Physical therapy in 2016 from Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences in Rochester, MN. Since graduating, she has worked as an orthopedic physical therapist in Albuquerque, NM. As an avid runner and 10 time Boston Marathon qualifier, Julie enjoys helping fellow runners recover from injury and get back to racing. She also is a certified Pilates instructor and loves incorporating Pilates into her treatments sessions. She is certified in Dry Needling, ASTYM, Pilates, and has taken courses on the McKenzie Method, Mulligan Concept, and muscle energy techniques.

Julie’s clinical interests include orthopedics, post-op, running injuries, and manual therapy. She enjoys getting to know her patients and developing treatment plans to help them reach their goals. She uses a combination of exercise and manual therapy techniques to help patients reach their goals. She often incorporates reformer based Pilates into the treatment sessions.
