ALTITUDE IS HERE TO HELP

LIMIT YOUR EXPOSURE
We limit your exposure by offering injury screens and initiation of rehab exercises through telehealth or hands-on care in-clinic when necessary - no need to go to a crowded emergency room or physicians office where others may be seeking care for COVID-19. In Colorado, physical therapy is a DIRECT ACCESS service. This means you don’t need to get a referral to see us. As a bonus, research shows that this will also save you money by reaching out directly to physical therapy!
ACCESS US NOW
This is essential because the longer an injury goes untreated, the longer and more difficult the road to recovery can be. We are DOCTORS OF PHYSICAL THERAPY. We are trained in ‘red flag’ situations. We have tests, questions, and measures validated through research that tell us if you're a good candidate for PT, what your diagnosis is, and/or if you need an X-RAY, MRI, or other imaging - which we can order for you! Our thorough history taking and movement assessments, via telehealth or in person, can get you initiated on a rehabilitation plan and avoid long term or chronic pain.
EXERCISE IS ESSENTIAL
Physical therapy is most often targeted at getting you injury free and allowing your body to exercise. The current recommendations are 30 minutes of cardiovascular activity 5 days a week . Right now, that might be more limited as trails or gyms are closed and everyone is doing their part for social distancing. Consulting with a physical therapist about ways to exercise safely, get your heart rate up, and stay healthy can now be done from the safety of your own home. Through telehealth, we can get creative with how your home is laid out, the equipment you might have, and what your body can tolerate to create an individualized exercise program that is safe for you.  And if you have an injury, we can help you virtually or in the clinic.

Physical Therapy is Essential

  • Everyone should have their joints, muscles, and movement patterns assessed regularly to ensure continued physical health
  • Physical therapists are the experts in identifying movement compensations that can often result in pain or discomfort
  • If your ability to move well has changed, or if you have any questions or concerns regarding joint or muscle pain, please use the form above to request an appointment!
  • Remember, including physical therapy visits as a part of your routine health can limit injury prevalence and decrease your overall healthcare cost
