Caitlin Barritt

PT, DPT, OCS, Director

Treating Clinics: Boulder

Caitlin was born and raised in Vermont. At 13 years old she decided she wanted to be a physical therapist when she grew up. And a short 10 years later - that's what she would become. Caitlin went to undergraduate and PT school at Simmons College in Boston, graduating in 2001. She drove out west and settled in Boulder and has been here happily ever since.

Outside the clinic, Caitlin spends much of her time with her two young children, teaching them to be good bikers and hikers. She rises early to get in her kickboxing and resistance training before anyone else is awake!

Interests

Caitlin has worked exclusively in outpatient orthopedics in Colorado. One of her favorite aspects of working with patients is being able to educate them about the anatomy and physiology of their condition so that they are better able to understand their condition and what we need to do to fix it!

Treatment Philosophy

Caitlin has strong manual skills from soft tissue techniques to joint mobilizations as well as incorporating trigger point dry needling (TDN) to help reduce pain and improve function of muscles. Exercise prescription is another important component for patients to be active participants in their recovery and to further their rehab on their own.
