Mitch Shuman
PT, DPT
Mitch was originally raised in Northern Michigan, but has been living in Colorado since 2014. The youngest of four children, he was always pushed to keep up and developed his competitive spirit. He played multiple sports growing up including football, basketball, soccer and track.

After finishing undergrad, Mitch moved to Chicago where he worked for five years with a job in sales. However, he continued to have a strong interest in health and wellness, and physical therapy seemed like a perfect fit for his personality. Mitch has devoted himself to an energetic lifestyle and enjoys staying as active as possible. He continues to enjoy competing in all sports and also loves outdoor activities such as snowboarding, hiking, boating, running and lifting weights.
Interests
Mitch enjoys treating all different areas of the body and enjoy the most connecting with the individual through the rehabilitation process. The ankle has been a favorite joint of his for a while due to the effect you can have on it with hands on treatment combined with exercise. More recently, he's enjoyed treating the spine as well because of recent continuing education classes focused on that area.
Treatment Philosophy
Mitch has valuable experience working with a wide variety of orthopedic diagnoses and age ranges. Mitch utilizes a wide variety of treatment techniques with an emphasis on manual therapy paired with exercises customized for each patient’s needs. His goal is to improve your quality of life and return you to the activities you love doing as soon as possible.
